The Future of Global Recycling Lives in the Circular Economy

Though the linear model of production still domain the economy, climate change, pollution and fluctuation of the price are pushing the initiative of changing the current production. The circular economy then became one of the main policy priorities in the EU.

Circular Economy is not just an environmental issue but also help business to engage in triple bottom line theory. Under the current economic model after industry evolution, not only the environment but also the society became destroyed. The protection or remedy for the damage is too passive to make systemic change.

Circular Economy can create a systemic change in the world by changing the traditional business model. It allows sustainable economic growth without generating waste. In my point of view, it also provides a new booming platform for any sector or country. It will open up new business opportunities and give rise to new business models. Moreover, it will create more innovative and efficient ways of production and consumption as well as protect businesses from the scarcity of resources and fluctuating prices. Also, it will provide local jobs and social integration.

As an entrepreneur, I am very interested in the integration of different sectors and countries. While supply chains are globalized, the implementation of the circular economy needs engagement from all the stakeholders. To achieve SDGs, we need to generate collaboration between all the stakeholders and business want to play a leading role. I would love to contribute myself to be an integrator between sectors and countries.
